Women’s Resource Centers at the forefront of women’s economic empowerment in Azerbaijan

The brochure follows the individual stories of five women entrepreneurs supported by the UNDP Azerbaijan and UN Women. By supporting women through inclusion, experience and knowledge sharing and creating social support systems, the Women’s Resource Centers (WRCs) in Azerbaijan inspire women to use their potential to the fullest. To date, the WRCs have been used by hundreds of women who now have available spaces to meet, network, and grow both personally and professionally. All five women featured in this publication coming from rural and modest backgrounds, provide a testimony of the potential of Azerbaijani women.

The project has supported the establishment of the WRC in Baku-Khazar and Gusar Regions, and has further strengthened the WRC in Sabirabad.
