Interior of Violence: An interactive performance on ending violence against women (Georgia)

The UN Joint Programme to Enhance Gender Equality in Georgia (UNJP) marked International Women's Day 2014 by launching "The Interior of Violence," an interactive exhibition and performance staged by actors of Georgia's Kote Marjanishvili State Drama Theatre. The exhibition was set up in the form of a home in the theatre's lobby for the performance. It also features stories developed by Georgian journalists, bloggers and photojournalists on violence against women, as well as domestic violence. Those stories resulted from a workshop conducted by UN Women on gender-sensitive reporting.
