Gender Responsive Public Financial Management (GRPFM) Assessment Report
In 2021-2022, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) with the support of UN Women and in partnership with the World Bank (WB) conducted the Gender Responsive Public Finance Management (GRPFM) self-assessment. The assessment is a part of the larger Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) assessment and evaluates the degree to which Georgia’s public finance management (PFM) system is gender responsive. The PEFA’s GRPFM is a set of nine indicators which collect information on gender responsive public financial management practices.
The PEFA GRPFM assessment results are expected to facilitate the measurement of progress, to inform a broader strategy for the Government of Georgia on integrating gender responsive budgeting (GRB) in Georgia’s PFM system and contributes towards progress on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicator 5.c.1.
