Within the framework of the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles, UN Women has had a long-standing, close cooperation with the Georgian private sector. This partnership is gradually expanding in support of gender equality through new initiatives, becoming even more strategic.

UN Women assists its partners in developing and implementing a gender equality strategy. One such partner, the agency “Enterprise Georgia”, has already approved this strategy and a three-year action plan. The process was supported by UN Women.
