Manual for Response on Domestic Violence Occurrences

The manual has been produced in line with legislation of Georgia against domestic violence and it includes information regarding legal regulations as well as available state services. The manual will primarily assist interested public servants in defining exactly how to respond when revealing occurrence of violence, whom to apply and which measures to demand for implementation. However, the manual is of relevance for all organizations and persons working on domestic violence issues and willing to help victims.

The manual is prepared taking into consideration the newest legislative amendments which the Parliament of Georgia endorsed on 17 November, 2014. Besides, the detailed information regarding asylums for victims of domestic violence, hot line or other state services is included in the manual.
